3D Printing In Chocolate

3D Printing With Chocolate
Fancy your face scanned and being 3D printed in chocolate? U.K. based Choc Edge has a solution which is coming to market.

Editor: We are enthusiastically looking for news of 3D chocolate printers that ordinary folk can use. Where can I buy one, how much will it cost and where can I get the models?

Well it appears 3D Systems have decided adoption by consumer and prosumer markets is most likely to happen if they pursue 3D printers which can make chocolate designs. It was bound to come and it looks like becoming a reality this year. 3DPrintWise thinks it will be a hit and we expect to have models on the site especially for making chocolate 3D prints.

At this point in time, there are companies like Choc Edge in the U.K. who will make a chocolate replica of your face for around $100. They are not shipping world wide just yet. However, they do have plans to supply retail outlets so that everyone can print their designs in their local patisserie or chocolate shop.
