The 3D Printing Association

The 3D Printing Association

The idea for the association was first considered during 2010. The rapid growth in additive manufacturing and 3D printing was missing a global organisation to represent the interests of consumers, manufacturers, and designers. After consultation with several industry players, the organisation was created in 2013.

During the last 12 months the association has established a firm base of members, followers and contributors and is a partner of numerous events around the globe. From this base the association is looking to grow in influence and increase the already vibrant contribution it makes to the community.

There are various levels of membership which enable anyone, be it an individual, a student, a start-up business or a major player in the global industry to join and participate.

With our advisory board of recognised voices within the industry and our support of initiatives aimed at improving environmental considerations, the association is poised to go from strength to strength.

Membership continues to grow with organisations and individuals joining from around the globe, to be part of, possibly the world’s largest community of 3D printing enthusiasts, organisations and professionals. The recent offer of a free 30 day no obligation trial has further added to the membership base.

Ian Ferguson advisory board member and Director of Membership services said,

“We are delighted with the response from the community, we realise we have a long way to go to fully integrate and support the global 3D community, but it was always our desire to create a sound foundation, which will enable us to build on this base in the future”.

Here are the details about the benefits of membership. Don’t forget to use the promotional code DS3DX for the free trial.
