India is about to get its first gig with 3D printed instruments at MecklerMedia’s Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo!
Mumbai is the financial capital of India and its largest city. The region is home to a diverse range of industries and a centre for finance, business, trade and fashion. On the 3rd and 4th December, Mumbai will also be host to the inaugural edition of MecklerMedia’s Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo.
A unique feature to Inside 3D Printing Mumbai event will be the special Inside 3D Printing Experience Zone. A place which will be educational and creative where you can get to appreciate what 3D Printing is about and how it is applied. For example, Divide By Zero Technologies, an important partner at the event will be introducing India’s first musical gig with 3D printed instruments.
The concert at Inside 3D Printing will feature a group made up of musicians from the America’s Berkley College of Music. It will feature instruments created by Divide By Zero Technologies, including a Uklele, Electronic Guitar, Darbuka, Flute, Shaker, bongo and Kanjeera.
Swapnil Sansare (CEO & Founder at Divide By Zero Technologies) explains that
“the instruments which will be used for the show were printed using a Accucraft i 250+ 3D printer, made right here in India”.

To celebrate the Mumbai event, there will also be an exciting competition for designers. Divide By Zero Technologies will be awarding winning designers prizes such as 3D printers.
